We fashion cushions for rockers, gliders, love seats and so much more! The types of seating cushion we make are typically filled with foam for a stable surface to sit on. Foam can be cut to any shape so a cushion can be custom made to fit any space.
Boxed Cushions have a top piece and a bottom piece with a piece of fabric all around the side called the boxing. Zippers are in the back. This is the most common type of cushion and has square lines.
Box Cushions
A Mock Box Cushion has a top piece and a bottom piece that both wrap down the sides and meet in the middle. Then the corners are squared off with a seam. There is a zipper in the back.
Mock Boxed Cushions
Rolled Front Cushions have a piece of fabric that starts on the top, wraps around the front and continues across the bottom. Then there are boxing pieces on the sides with a zipper in the back. This is a softer more rounded look.

Back Cushions
Back Cushions on a couch are often filled with batting or pillow stuffing and often have two pieces that meet in the center with pleated or butterfly corners. The zipper is on the bottom.

Custom Pillows
Pillows are different than cushions in that they are usually filled with a pillow insert filled with polyester or down. They are usually accent pieces to lean against or just for decorative purposes. The most common is a knife edge pillow but they can be more elaborate with boxing, shirring or any number of decorative accents. They can also be any shape.

Dining Chair upholstery
Most dining chair seats can be unscrewed from the chair to be reupholstered. We can reupholster these for you using the existing foam or providing new foam. They look beautiful when they are redone in fabric that complements your decor. We can also reupholster any type of cushion that is stapled onto a board like this.
